Stretch and Strengthening
It is very important that Stretching and Strengthening exercises should go hand in hand. A flexible body which does not have the strength to hold positions while dancing is pointless. Our classes are designed to equip students with stretching and strengthening exercises which they can then continue at home throughout the week and during the holidays.
Focusing on strength can greatly benefit functional flexibility. Flexibility means that the muscles are long and supple but without having the muscular support and the joint stability to hold a position, a dancer will not achieve their full potential.
Therabands are required for this class.
